Community feasibility study,

Village garages, Findhorn

Working with Athena Solutions and Urban Animation this feasibility study explored options for for bringing back into community use a series of timber-framed garages, constructed by Captain Armstrong in the 1920s.

Built on well-drained sand the historic timber structure was found to be in surprisingly good condition, leading to a simple re-cladding and addition of covered walkway to form a series of flexible workshops and offices for local businesses to let.
